Oh yay! and VERY busy day tomorrow

First off, I probably won't be able to post tomorrow because we will be soooo busy with baseball games, Beach 2 Beacon, several other random things...etc. But I will probably be able to squeeze in a post on Sunday before I ship out ((again)) For camp. I'm going back to Pilgrim Lodge. :) And yippie skippie!!!!!! My parents said that I can not only bring my cornet as I usually do, I can also bring the trombone! I am getting very very into palying it. Also I have just decided that either on this post or the next, I would like your ideas on possibly a new blog header name and screen-name. So, comment if you have any suggustions. (I have decided that it is gettion boring being the old same 'ole same 'ole)

Yawn.....I'm so bored

I am sooooo bored. Like, I just want this week to end so I can be at camp again. This week smy brother's at camp and so we can't do much 'cause it takes 40 minutes to get out there. 80 round trip, twice a day. And even reading outside on the porch has kinda lost it's thrill. Seriously. On Tuesday I went to the library and got 8 good solid 250-450 page books. (yeah sometimes I decide to go easy on myself in the summer) Well I'm done with all of them. I hadn't even READ any of them before. Yikes, guess I'll need to go back there again today.

Lazy Day....

Not much to do today....just your lazy summer day....haha. Went to the library this morning and got some books. I've just been reading on the porch swing and wishing for and ice cold slushie from Red's down the street. Yum.......tangerine or something like that. Yeah. Or there could be snow and I could be wishing to ski........oh yeah. Me skiing at the top of Saddleback like I am in the picture. The view is to die for up there.....

Well I did some errands with my mom this morning while my brother was at camp. Wasn't that bad. Got some supplies for my Tri For A Cure poster and white shirts to tye-dye a blue pair of shorts and a cute blue skirt. And after walking out into the parking lot, good gracious! IL FAIT CHAUD!!!!!! So hot and humid out. I wish we had a pool or could go to the beach but XanFan's got a baseball game tonight so THAT'S out of the question.

Summer Storm

Yes, the title says it all. Thunder is rolling overhead and and the rain is starting to fall rather heavily, and yet, not all the sky is covered with clouds at the moment and we're expecting a rainbow. I love thunderstorms. I mean, after you know the facts they're not scary at all! Like thunder is just air expanding and crashing together again-and in your average storm most lightning isn't cloud-to-ground. But we're talking average storm in Maine. If you were to live in, say, Oklahoma (tornado capital of the US) Erm- Just saw lightning and have to shut this thing off now-bye.

Hey everybody! I'm back from band camp and, boy was it AWESOME! Our concert totally rocked and Elrania and I had sooooooooo much fun. (We roomed together) We had some really tough pieces and we were able to pull it off. I also made the top jazz band. Anyway it was just a great week. As a matter of fact my old piano teacher and old KinderMusic teacher were there as counselors. HAHA. It was great, but I'm glad to be back here on my blog again!

the nervous/excitedness is beginning to set in....

Oh my.......only 3 hours until I leave for the game. How willl I make the time pass quickly. I must say thank goodness for pre-game warm-ups, because they really get you all calm and focused. But district championship.....wow. If and when we win we either get medals or trophys and a big banner that says something like '2009 District 6 Champions' and we get to run around the field with it. And championship game AND cross-town rivalry!? There are going to be SOOO many people there. A bunch of family members are coming, friends, boyfriend, other regular season players, random people...........a ton.

Beach and sleepover

Just got back from the beach with my friend Annie. Soooo much fun. The waves were huge! We swam, walked to the shipwreack, looked for crabs, skim-boarded and then swam again. Now we're home and she is sleeping over. Fun! It's been an interesting day.....very fun. The pic is from the web, but it's what it looked like on the beach tonight! (we didn't have the camera with us)

*In high fake enthusiastic voice* Don't you just LOVE the rain? I mean, they're just SOOO many things that you can do! They are just the most fun and I never get tired of the rain!

*normal* Sheesh. If there really is a person like that, getting the same weather I've been getting, they NEED to see a doctor. They may be a danger to society. Seriously. We haven't had more than 2 days straight without rain or drab overcast clouds. Not fun. Ya know, I'm starting to agree with one of the comics in the paper yesterday. The Family Circus, maybe you read it. Anyway the boy, Jeffy, looks out the window at the rain and says "They should give us an extra day of vacation for every day that rains."

If SPN (my team short for South Portland National) wins our game tonight, we have won districts and will join 5 other teams in the state level. It's just SO exciting to be on this kind of team. 3 of my followers are also on this team and they are Annie, Katie, and Super Gato. And an almost cooler thing is this. We play at 7:30 UNDER THE LIGHTS. Totally cool. Well I'm going to stop obbsessing over the game 'cause you're probably getting a little bored with it.......
